54% of our alumni said the Club saved their life, so when you give, you help the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley provide a safe place to go after school and life-changing opportunities they wouldn’t get anywhere else.
Every kid has potential. They just need a helping hand.
There are many ways to give. But none have greater impact on youth than building confidence, teaching life skills and helping plan for a great future.
The Club difference is that we understand where every kid is coming from and where they can go – and we have trained youth development professionals who can help them get there. Join us and feel the difference you’re making every day.
Volunteering is a great way to support the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley. Help at either (or both) of our two clubhouses or with our special events. Your first priority as a volunteer is the safety of the children and teens we serve. Lear more on our Child Safety page. involvement can range from helping with homework, coaching basketball, teaching classes and workshops, the arts and much more.
Mentor the next great success story.
From building bonds and holding them accountable to homework help and career advice, there are so many ways to make a real
difference in a child’s life.
First, review our commitment to Child Safety, then contact one of our sites directly to turn in your volunteer application and begin the background screening process. All volunteers (and employees) must undergo background checks to scan the Sex Offender Registry and other databases to ensure all Club members are safe. You will meet with the Clubhouse Branch Manager to discuss the Club’s current needs, your skills and availability, and to set your schedule. Keep in mind our busiest times, and when we need the most help, are the afternoons Monday-Friday. We rarely have weekend volunteer needs. If you are interested in helping on weekends you may be able to help with and upcoming Special Event/Fundraiser. Review them here. We are open all day in the summers.
