Summer Program

Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley offers fun and engaging programs and activities all summer long at our Sierra Vista, Newhall, and Castaic Clubhouses.

Our summer programs are designed to keep kids safe, learning, active and engaged throughout the summer break.  Our goal is to provide a
safe place for kids and teens while school is out, continue learning in a fun and engaging way, and provide unique experiences and opportunities that help youth grow into leaders and responsible citizens.  That’s why summer programs are open Monday-Friday 7am-7pm.  “The cost for all this?”, you ask.  Just $10 per day for arrivals before 11am and an annual $60 registration fee!*  Plus, the Club operates a drop in summer program.  So you only pay for the days your child attends.

The Club is staffed by paid caring adult mentors who can’t wait to meet your kids!  Your Santa Clarita Boys & Girls Club offers so many things to do over the summer kids don’t have time to get bored. You’ll also have peace of mind knowing your children are in a safe place and supervised as they make new friends.  At each of our three Clubhouses you will find a summer calendar that provides details on events, trips, and daily programming.

Summer Meals free meals are provided daily.  Details for the Castaic program are still in the works.  At Sierra Vista and Newhall breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are provided free to all youth.

Field Trips are offered throughout the summer.  Parents and guardians must register their child/teen in advance.  Details are provided as early as possible.  Some trips require an additional fee.  Sometimes opportunities arise for specific groups or clubs, like our teen Leaders in Training program, or are donated last minute.  The Club strives to make all opportunities available to all members but space is very limited when it comes to off-site trips.

Does it sound too good to be true?  It’s not!  The Club is supported by many caring individuals and organizations that believe every child deserves a safe fun place to be to grow.  Learn more by clicking here.

*There is no cost for Newhall School District students attending the Old Orchard School Site program.
