Our goal is to support and enhance the efforts of teachers and counselors to ensure academic achievement and instill a desire for life long learning.
These programs help youth create aspirations for the future, providing opportunities for career exploration and educational enhancement.
PROJECT LEARN is an innovative program that increases learning skills and academic achievement by engaging members in interesting and fun, high-yield learning activities during non-school hours. PROJECT LEARN activities include:
- Focused homework help and tutoring Learning Activities in all program areas at the Club
- Parent and adult involvement
- Collaboration with schools Incentives and Accountability
- Computers in our Learning Center offer members the chance to sharpen their skills and to complete homework assignments.
STEM provides members with opportunities to explore and excel in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in a fun and engaging out of school setting. The Lego
Robotics program is a Club highlight that has inspired many members to explore new educational paths. The program was first begun in thanks to funding and volunteer support from ZONTA Club of SCV specifically for girls.
Scholarships to College of the Canyons are awarded to selected Club members annually.
