Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is helping Santa Clarita youth reach their full potential by supporting academic success, providing a second home, and building leaders.  5,000 youth a year benefit from Club programs, services, special events, and outreach.  In 2020 Club programs continued as programs and services were initially adapted to a remote format-staying connected with members and their families through virtual programming, grab and go events, and wellness checks.  However, the Club wasted no time in adapting to new public health guidelines, reopening its doors in the summer of 2020.  During the 2020-2021 school year the Club expanded its hours and services to meet our local youth’s needs during the pandemic by providing full day in-person remote learning support at two local schools.  177 students received academic, recreational, and social emotional support at the Club through the most difficult times in recent history.  This summer the Club is opening a new program for youth in the small community of Val Verde and continuing services at our Canyon Country and Newhall Clubhouses.

Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley was formed in 1968 by a group of community leaders who recognized the growing need for high-quality, affordable programs and facilities for the area’s young people. The Club is a chartered member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, an organization with more than 4,000 clubs nationwide serving over a million youth a year.  Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of outstanding leaders in the community and staffed by a team of dedicated Youth Development Professionals.

Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley Mission Statement

To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

This is accomplished through the Formula for Impact:

The Club is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization. People are often astonished to learn that membership in the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is only $60 per year per child for the first child and $45 for each additional child in a household.

Financial support for The Club comes from a variety of sources. Private and corporate donations, grants and a very active board that puts on several large fundraisers each year, are the key to the success and financial stability of The Club.

The Club’s success also depends on the dedicated volunteers who make tremendous contributions of time and talent, with responsibilities ranging from board membership and technical expertise, to in-kind donations and services for our special events and fundraisers. Their commitment enables The Club to offer the most affordable and accessible quality youth programs in the valley.
