When school is out, Club is ON(line)!
Hello Club Families!
In an effort to continuously serve members during Club closure, Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is providing distance-based, virtual programming for Club members and community kids, through which Club staff will facilitate program activities through online platforms. The Club will use software, tools and applications provided by third parties that members, parents/guardians and/or staff will access via the Internet and use for purposes of communication and programming. These platforms include, but are not limited to, Instagram, Facebook and Zoom for video conferencing.
To ensure the safety of our Club Members, and to keep parents and guardians informed, we require each member to have a consent form completed before members can access Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley programming.

When will the Club Reopen?
April 28, 2020: We are working on plans to reopen the Club under the latest health and social distance guidelines. We continue to monitor updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state, county, and city officials and health departments. While we are working diligently to reopen we do not have a date set at this time. We will continue to post updates thru our social media pages and on our website.

Great Futures Start Here!
When school's out; the Club is in!
Both of our clubhouse locations will be closed until further notice. More information on when we will reopen will be shared by the end of April. Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is working closely with local, state, and national health officials, as well as Santa Clarita school districts, to help protect our members, their families, our volunteers, and our employees from all communicable diseases. We are closely monitoring the situation and will work to reopen Clubhouses as soon as deemed safe.

The Club is where your kids belong.
Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is committed to supporting academic success, providing a second home, and building leaders. Over 1,600 local children and teens call the Club their home. The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is one of over 4,000 Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide. Membership begins at 7 years old, is just $60 a year, and provides you access to both of our full-service Clubhouses here in Santa Clarita where your child’s safety is our number one priority. At the Club, members will receive access to homework help, a healthy snack, and opportunities for youth sports, STEM programs, and fun games and activities. The Club has been proving a fun safe place for kids after-school since 1968.
Where your kids can be themselves, dream big, and accomplish their aspirations.
Our goal is to meet your kids and teens where they are, providing a safe place to help them grow in the right direction, we focus on three key outcome areas: education, character-building and healthy lifestyles. The Club is a place for your kids to laugh. A place to learn. A place to grow. A place to belong. With all the distractions that exist today, there are many directions youth can go. Along with teachers, friends and family, we’re an ally who’s on their side, here to guide them toward a great future. Staffed by caring and trained professionals, Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley offers more than just a watchful eye, but a place where your kids can connect with mentors and grow outside the classroom.
When the school bell rings, we’re there for your kids:
Kids can get into trouble if they don’t have a safe place to go between the last school bell and dinner time. Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is here to ease your mind by providing a safe, supervised place for them to drop in and feel at home.
The Club’s regular hours are Monday thru Friday after-school. Typical hours are 2pm-7pm (those critical hours when school is out and parents are still at work). We extend our hours to 7am-7pm when your kids are on school breaks, like Spring, Summer, and Winter Breaks. Call our Clubhouses directly to check on hours, as they do change, and we have several different school districts here in Santa Clarita. Typically our Clubhouse in Newhall follows the Newhall School District calendar and our Sierra Vista Clubhouse in Canyon Country follows the Sulphur Springs School District calendar. Find our Clubhouse addresses and phone numbers here. Transportation from school to the Club is available from some schools as well. Give us a call for questions about availability.
Building confidence, friendships, and career paths.
The Club strives to improve each child’s life by instilling self-esteem, courage, and positive values through all of our educational programs. Our youth come to The Club to receive homework assistance, a healthy snack, computer access, youth sports, mentoring, social recreation, arts & crafts and so much more. Our members gain confidence by developing a sense of usefulness, competence and belonging. Not only will your kids have fun afterschool but they will also get their homework done and have opportunities to learn and grow beyond the classroom. In the summer we provide breakfast and lunch too!
When you’re a Club member, you’re never alone.
- A safe, positive environment (encompassing both physical and emotional safety)
